Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp (Canadian actress) is best known for her lead roles in numerous television shows, however, she also has impressive roles on film. She is popular on both Canadian as well as American TV. Emily started acting when she was 12 after visiting her older sister Katie on one of Katie's film productions. When Emily realized her love of acting, she enrolled in training in acting classes and went to auditions. Her first audition was for commercials for a few minutes before being offered a role on the Canadian television show for children Are You Scared of Darkness? which featured her in just one scene without any dialog. At the age 15, Emily got her first big break after she became a regular on the WB program Glory Days. Emily's acting talent was noticed by Greg Berlanti after the show was canceled after only nine episodes. He cast Emily as a character on Everwood, his new TV show. Emily was an accomplished ballet dancer and began to take up photography as well. Teen listed her as one top actress under 20. In Maxim's Hot 100 for 2014 listed her at number 51.
