Allison Brooks Janney (born April 14 in 1970) is an American actor. She is well-known for her performance on the stage and on screen She has been awarded a variety of awards, including the Academy Award a British Academy Film Award a Golden Globe Award and seven Primetime Emmy Awards, in addition to being nominated for two Tony Awards. Allison Janney was a regional actress for nearly twenty years before becoming famous for her role as White House Press secretary C.J. Gregg C.J. Gregg in The West Wing (1999-2006) a popular and acclaimed TV drama. Allison Janney was always a late stager. Her driving licence until she was 17 - a full year longer than the majority of her peers from Ohio. Following her graduation from the university the first time she went out on a date did not happen. When she began auditioning at 23 years old, she didn't appear in a film until her mid 30s. Since stepping away from Mom in 2020, Faris has been very cautious about roles, mainly appearing in animated work aside of 2022's The Estate. Faris In an exclusive announcement to PEOPLE she said the decision was not made deliberately. Anna Faris quit her CBS sitcom Mom in the eighth season and its final one. Faris originally stated that she left to seek different opportunities. But now, she is revealing more details regarding the reasons she chose to quit acting. It was not an unintentional choice. Janney was sporting a wig since the beginning of the series and was unafraid. "I'm telling you guys, I've worn a wig since the first season, but nobody realized it,' she explained to Fallon in her interview, and then added, so everyone in the world is aware of that it's there today. Janney wants to bring the wig back with her. As per reports, she made up at least $125,000 per episode in the first seasons. Faris and her fellow co-star Allison Janey, are estimated to earn $200,000 per episode in the end of season 4, or in third season.
