Bill Self, a popular and wealthy Basketball Coach, was born in the city of Okmulgee Oklahoma on December 27, 1962. Bill Self's net worth was around $10 million at November 11, 2023. Bill was the head coach at Kansas for the 2013 season. Bill was appointed assistant coach to freshman sensation Andrew Wiggins. Following the rebuilding of their Golden Eagles, Self was recruited by a crosstown rival Tulsa for three years (1998 to 2000) at Tulsa and compiled a Tulsa record of 74-27 record. Self led TU's Golden Hurricane into consecutive NCAA Tournaments in 1999 & 2000. Self was born close to Morris High School in Okmulgee. Self's father was the head coach for girls basketball at this school. Self received a scholarship for basketball and played for Oklahoma State University. He was a letter winner all four years he played. The Oklahoma State University awarded him a bachelor of administrative studies degree in 1985 as well as the master of athletics administration degree, in the year 1989.
