Richard Bruce Cheney is the son Richard Herbert Cheney of the late Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. He was born on the 30th of January 1941, within Lincoln Nebraska. At the age of 13, Richard Bruce moved with his parents from Nebraska to Casper (in Wyoming, the State of Wyoming) in Wyoming, where his father was Director of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's soil conservation district.
